A COVID-19 testing center at Sonoma State University is currently open to all SSU students, staff, faculty, and their family or household members. The testing center serves an integral role in the implementation of the CSU COVID-19 vaccination requirement policy by ensuring routine COVID-19 testing for campus community members who are not yet fully vaccinated or who have been approved for an exemption to the vaccine requirement. We encourage all SSU community members to utilize the testing center if they have been exposed to COVID-19 or are experiencing any symptoms.
COVID-19 Testing Center Schedule
Beginning January 24 and continuing through the spring semester, the testing center will be open:
- Mondays from 7 to 10 a.m.
- Wednesdays from 4 to 7 p.m.
- Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The testing center is located in Denali Gym at the Recreation Center and serves students, employees, and household members on a first-come, first-served basis. SSU’s COVID-19 testing center is not taking appointments at this time. Pre-registration is required, but pre-scheduled appointments will not be accommodated. Please register your account through the link below and select “No Appointment” from the drop-down list of testing sites. For questions regarding the clinic, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation when visiting the clinic. We know this is a challenging time and wait times may be longer than normal. Please wear a face mask when in line and keep a considerate physical distance from others to keep our campus community safe.
Students who have not yet been fully vaccinated, including those who have approved exemptions, are required to complete weekly testing. Vaccinated students and their family or household members may use the testing center as needed. Employees and their family or household members may also use the center as needed. Insurance companies or federal COVID-19 assistance programs for uninsured individuals will be billed directly.
Sonoma State has contracted with Avellino Precision Medicine to administer the COVID testing center. The Student Health Center will receive test results for students. Employee test results will be received by the COVID Monitoring Team. If you have any questions about the requirements of this center, please email email@example.com.
