RE: Printing of Direct Deposit Advice Statements Permanently Discontinued
The State Controller’s Office has been working to improve employee access to their pay stub data in a cost effective and sustainable manner. To better support the state during COVID, the SCO accelerated the statewide rollout of an application that provides employees electronic access to their advice statements. We are pleased to share, Cal Employee Connect is available to all employees paid by SCO’s payroll system for all campuses statewide.
With access to CEC now widely available, the SCO has decided to permanently discontinue the printing of pay advice statements for employees who are paid via direct deposit.
We continue to encourage all employees to enroll in direct deposit by completing and printing the direct deposit enrollment form on the State Controller’s Office website and mailing it to SSU Payroll and Benefits.
If you have any questions, please contact Payroll and Benefits.
